Dear New York,
As a pre-christmas treat, I decided to buy myself an early present in the form of a new 32 GB SD card for my camera. I have a bad habit of keeping photos that I like on my SD card, so I can flick back through them on my camera. It also serves as a useful backup for my laptop, external hard drive and my cloud albums (I know, I have trust issues with technology, but better safe than sorry!) This does, however, mean that the old SD card kept running out of space, and it was time to start afresh with a new one.
There is nothing I like more after a day of frantic Christmas shopping or frolicking in the cold (we’ve actually had snow twice now), than settling down to watch a Christmas film with a cup of chai tea.
I'm guessing by now that you are all fully into the swing of festive viewing, but just in case you’ve ...
I was a bit overwhelmed at the idea of committing to Blogmas (a blog every day leading up to Christmas! Great to read, but intimidating to follow through with) but I thought that a countdown, the week before Christmas would/could be achievable *THIS DID NOT HAPPEN... Christmas in NYC took over*.
On Sunday, December 11th, 2016, I experienced my first proper snow in New York City. Ed and I had popped out to get some groceries from the local market and walked out of our building to see that magic was raining down on NYC in lovely, little, fluffy white snow... and it was settling.
Dear New York,
What a fantastic photo! I love all of the little boxes and squares and the higgledy piggledy buildings. It somehow makes New York look a bit European.
