Elishia Merricks

Based in NYC, but UK grown, Elishia Merricks is an award-winning Producer with Macmillan Audio. With a Bachelors in Drama & Theater Studies and a Masters in Applied Theater, Elishia heavily relies on her Theater and academic background when producing each book. Her combined love of literature and the performing arts naturally led to her work with audiobooks and she strives to build an authentic connection between the text, the narrator, and the listener.

One of Elishia's main goals is to find new and exciting narrators. She spearheaded the pilot 'New Narrators Event' at Macmillan Audio in August 2022 and will be continuing to run the event each quarter.

She produced the 2023 Audie Award winner in the Thriller category, ALL SINNERS BLEED by S.A. Cosby, narrated by Adam Lazarre White, and THANK YOU (FALETTINME BE MICE ELF AGIN) by Sly Stone and Bend Greenman, narrated by Dion Graham, winning the inaugural LA Times Book Prize for Outstanding Production in Audiobooks.
